Isometric drawing

Isometric drawings show 3D objects without perspective. Here every object is a card with numbers you can edit: position (X, Y, up), size, rotation and colour. Objects that hide each other are sorted automatically, and you can force the order with “Drawing order”.

Supported objects are boxes (and cubes), cylinders, pyramids, flat floor tiles and stairs. X runs toward the lower right, Y toward the lower left and “Up” is height above the floor, all measured in grid squares.

The optional AI command tab lets a chatbot describe a scene as a list of objects; unsupported shapes are reported clearly instead of being guessed.

Frequently asked questions

How do I stack one object on top of another?

Set the upper object’s “Up” value equal to the lower object’s Up plus its height.

Why is an object hidden behind another?

Objects nearer to the viewer (larger X and Y) are drawn on top. Use “Drawing order” to change this for an object.

Which shapes are supported?

Boxes, cylinders, pyramids, floor tiles and stairs. Other shapes such as spheres are not available.
