How to use

  1. Pick a quick example, or type your own formula after “y =”.
  2. Drag the graph to move it, scroll (or press + and −) to zoom. Change the colour, range or title if you like.
  3. Press Download PNG to save the graph as a picture.

Function grapher

Write formulas the way you would on a calculator: x^2, 2x+1, sin(x), sqrt(x), abs(x), ln(x), 1/x, (x+1)(x−2). Up to six functions can be drawn together, each in its own colour. Angles use radians.

Formulas are read by a small built-in calculator, never executed as code, so odd input cannot run anything on your device. Points where a function is undefined (like 1/x at 0) are left as gaps.

The optional AI command tab lets a chatbot write the formulas and the visible range for you from a description. The site itself never calls an AI.

Frequently asked questions

How do I write powers and fractions?

Use ^ for powers (x^3) and / for division (1/x or (x+1)/(x−1)). Multiplication can be left out: 2x means 2 × x.

Why is part of my graph missing?

Where a formula has no value (for example sqrt(x) when x is negative, or 1/x at 0), nothing is drawn. Try changing the visible range.

Does it work with degrees?

Trigonometric functions use radians. To use degrees, write sin(x*pi/180).
