Grid paper generator
Pick a paper type, set the size and spacing, and download a print-ready sheet. The lines are drawn with exact maths, not a picture.
How to use
- Click a quick style (graph paper, dot grid, ruled…), or choose the paper size and grid type yourself.
- Adjust the spacing, line thickness, colour and margins — the preview updates at once.
- Download a PNG (300 dpi) or a vector PDF, and print at 100 % (“actual size”).
Grid paper generator
The grid is drawn from your settings with exact millimetre geometry, so a 5 mm grid really prints 5 mm apart when you print at 100 %. PDF files are true vectors and stay sharp at any zoom.
Square, dot, ruled, small-cross and isometric (triangle) grids are included, with an optional thicker line every N lines for math or engineering paper. Very fine spacing on a big sheet is refused to keep your browser responsive.
Everything runs in your browser. The optional AI command tab lets you describe a sheet in words to a chatbot of your choice and paste the JSON settings back — the site itself never calls an AI.
Frequently asked questions
How do I print it at the right size?
In the print dialog choose “Actual size” or “100 %”, and turn off “Fit to page” or “Scale to fit”. Otherwise your printer may shrink the grid.
Which grid should I choose?
Square for maths and graphs, dot grid for notes and sketches, ruled for writing, isometric for 3D-looking drawings.
Can I use the PNG in another app?
Yes. The PNG is 300 dpi for the chosen paper size, so it prints sharply. Use the PDF if you want perfectly crisp lines at any size.
