How to combine photos or phone scans into one PDF
Receipts, IDs, homework or signed forms — here is a clean way to turn several photos into a single PDF that is easy to send.
1. Get the photos into JPG
iPhones save photos as HEIC by default, which many forms and older computers cannot open. Convert them with HEIC to JPG first. Photos from Android phones are usually JPG already.
2. Crop the edges
Photos of paper usually include the table or your fingers. Use Crop Image to cut them away — it makes the PDF look neater and reduces its size. A4 and Letter pages are close to a 3:4 ratio, which is a good preset for documents.
3. Combine them with JPG to PDF
Add all images to JPG to PDF, arrange them in order and choose A4 pages with a small margin for a document-like result, or fit each page to the image. The tool makes one PDF with one image per page.
4. Fix rotation and merge with other files
If a page came out sideways, use Rotate PDF on just that page. To add a PDF you already have — for example an application form — combine both with Merge PDF. If the final file is too large for email, run it through Compress PDF.
