Website design audit
Paste or upload HTML to get science-based visual scores and usefulness findings — then export a JSON report.
How to use
- Paste HTML (preferred) or upload an .html file. Same-origin / CORS-allowed URLs can be fetched in the browser.
- Review overall, aesthetics and usefulness scores plus a prioritised improvement list.
- Export the report JSON, or call window.DesignAudit from an agent (analyze_html, get_report, list_findings).
Website design audit
Metrics are rule-based heuristics (approx. WCAG contrast on sampled colours, type/line-height, spacing density, hue/lightness/saturation spread, CTA prominence, section proportions) — not AI taste judgments.
Usefulness checks cover nav clarity, CTA presence, viewport meta, and form/label heuristics when HTML is available. External stylesheets without inline CSS yield partial results; paste full HTML when possible.
Everything runs in your browser. HTML is not uploaded. No AI API, no ffmpeg.wasm, no COOP/COEP.
Frequently asked questions
Is this AI design review?
No. Scores come from measurable heuristics (contrast ratios, type scales, spacing grids, structure checks), not generative AI.
Can I audit a live URL?
Yes if the page allows CORS or is same-origin. Otherwise paste or upload the HTML (View Source → copy).
What does the Agent API do?
window.DesignAudit exposes analyze_html, get_report and list_findings so scripts can run audits and read JSON without clicking the UI.
