How to use

  1. Pick a section and how many bars it has.
  2. Click a cell to add a note. Nudge, resize or delete it.
  3. Choose an instrument and press Play. The song is saved in this browser.

Melody maker

The grid is one octave at a time. Change octave to reach higher or lower notes. Transpose shifts every note in the section by one semitone.

Playback uses simple oscillator instruments. It is a sketch, not a sampled piano.

Frequently asked questions

Does this use AI?

No. Notes, chords and drums come from what you edit or from fixed rules and templates.

Does audio get uploaded or saved?

No. Playback is generated in your browser. Project JSON may stay in localStorage. Raw audio is not stored.

Can I loop the section?

Yes. Turn on Loop, then Play. Stop ends it.
